New Moon in Aquarius. Chinese New Year of the Dragon.

in 2024 February 10 58 minutes after midnight Lithuanian time, the new moon in the sign of Aquarius occurs, and this morning, at 7:58 a.m. when the Sun rises (also in Aquarius), the New Year of the Green (Wood) Dragon begins according to the Chinese calendar.

The Year of the Dragon relates to the position of Jupiter in the Taurus Zodiac. Jupiter has been traveling through this sign since 2023. May 17 until 2024 May 26 (when it will move to the Gemini Zodiac). So we have been feeling the trends of the Year of the Dragon for some time. Jupiter in Taurus expands our consciousness in the areas of security, stability, establishment, grounding, material well-being; encourages taking care of one's comfort, pleasant experiences, all kinds of self-sufficiency, growth of finances and wealth. This is a busy period focused on practical and realistic goals. Tangible result, value of achievements, measured return on investment are important to us.

Jupiter in Taurus teaches patience, endurance, meekness, peace, constancy, stability, reliability, practicality, naturalness, benevolence, harmony, decency. But at the same time, it reminds us of the importance of love, the meaning of life. There is an increasing attention to the issues of nature and ecology, as well as the problems of animals, plants, food, agriculture, land and its resources. We also think about the place of residence or the possibilities of its improvement. We turn more and more to the person himself (ourselves), to the needs of the physical body (nutrition, health, beauty), to our values, talents or their search, self-realization.

Jupiter in Taurus would calmly say to himself, "Hurry slowly and expand steadily!". However, Uranus traveling in the same sign of Taurus brings some unstable winds of change or even a whiff of rebellious revolutionary moods. Uranus would add: "Discover incredible innovation and change!". Therefore, the energies and symbolic areas of the Taurus Zodiac will be blessed by Jupiter's expansion, Selena's protection and karmic purification, and at the same time will be influenced by Uranus' encouragement to renew, reorient, liberate and creatively look at future trends.

Jupiter's energy development in Taurus would be hindered by greed, avarice, envy, harm or denial of material needs and well-being. Also laziness, stubbornness, stagnation, closed-mindedness or excess.

New Moon in Aquarius

The symbol of the Aquarius Zodiac is associated with freedom, independence, change, innovation. It is the most progressive sign representing the future, an insight into future trends. As the Moon travels through this Air Zodiac, we intuitively feel what has passed, what is limiting, what no longer corresponds to the measurements of the current or future reality. If we are impatient, lose patience or simply cannot accept something anymore - let's take a break from "operating automaton" and perform a "technical inspection of the chassis of life".

The Moon in the Aquarius Zodiac is also related to emotional changes, volatility, sometimes even tension or unexpected actions, misidentification or separation. The more active mental (not emotional) energy becomes, the originality of thoughts increases, the consciousness becomes more open and receptive. It is a time of insight and deeper understanding, so this new moon is especially favorable for planning, creating goals, renewal strategies, thinking about your intentions, motives, simply dreaming, remembering your wishes and desires. The veil between the diversity of the present and the future becomes transparent.

The "traps" of this New Moon: eccentricity, rebellion, nihilism, nervousness (especially about the unknown, about the future), denial or non-acceptance of responsibility, self-will, detachment.

The "keys" of this new moon:

- Humanity.

- Seeing oneself as an essential part of the web of humanity.

- No stereotypical thinking, decisions, actions!

- Strive to renew yourself in every way and help others do it.

- Awareness, acceptance and nurturing of one's own uniqueness and that of others. Allowing your uniqueness to connect with others who are different.

- Conscious, free choice.

I respect my small beginnings and endings. I trust the Creator, the cycles of the Universe, the processes of renewal and growth. I am free to choose ((not) be, (not) act, (not) have, (not) give...). There is always a choice.

The Chinese believe that how you welcome the New Year will determine the whole year! So how will you welcome this New Moon?

PS In the months of February and March, all planets will move directly, let's get ready to work intensively for the benefit of our future in various areas of life!
