The transition of the lunar nodes to the Pisces-Virgo axis. Change of coordinates in space GPS.

The lunar nodes are not planets or stars, they have no material form. These are two mathematically calculated “virtual” points where the orbits of the Earth and the Moon intersect. According to various astrological traditions, they are also called the karmic lunar nodes, the north and south or ascending and descending, the dragon’s head and the dragon’s tail, Rahu and Ketu. The lunar nodes have a cycle of approximately 18.5 years. During this period, they circle the entire Zodiac mandala, and remain on one axis of signs for approximately one and a half years. These points are always located opposite each other on the ecliptic. Therefore, in order to understand the meaning of the lunar nodes, we evaluate both opposite signs: their effects are inseparable.
In astrology, the South Node of the Moon in a person's personal birth horoscope indicates the experiences of past lives, accumulated achievements, developed qualities, achieved goals, and learned lessons. According to the North Node of the Moon, we see what the tasks of this incarnation are, what the direction of soul development is. The changing position of the transiting Moon Nodes in the sky every year and a half describes the general collective path of humanity's development. Both Moon Nodes show the direction of transformation, a qualitative turn of the spiral of development (evolution). This is a cosmic GPS that shows where we came from and where we are going next.
From May 2020 to January 2022, the northern and southern nodes of the Moon traveled along the axis of the signs of Gemini and Sagittarius. It is easy to remember how during the (post)pandemic period we began to appreciate ordinary and small things, turned to our immediate environment, reduced and shortened travel distances, and due to the “retraining to work remotely”, accessibility and attitudes towards learning and methods of activity changed. From January 2022 to July 2023, the lunar nodes activated the zodiacal axis of Taurus and Scorpio. The outbreak of war in the neighborhood prompted a new look at the fragility of material values and resources (especially energy), territorial security, the paradox of meaning and meaninglessness, the incompatibility of sincere life pleasures and toxic controlling relationships. Since July 2023, as the Lunar Nodes moved into the signs of Aries and Libra, we have been balancing between increased ego clashes, bold initiatives or decisions, increasing confidence, and a wavering image of diplomacy.
From January 12, 2025, the Lunar Nodes will move to the Pisces-Virgo axis, where they will travel until July 26, 2026. The last time the Lunar Nodes traveled through these signs was from June 2006 to December 2007. It is useful to remember personal events, experiences, and states at that time.
With the North Node of the Moon in Pisces, the tasks of collective evolution will unfold through intuition, empathy, through faith and trust. We will learn to accept, sympathize, forgive and love, to hear the vibrations of the soul, the whispers of Divine love. The concept of spirituality can acquire a completely different meaning and significance: perhaps very individual, unique and different for each person, or perhaps uniting and uniting everyone. Also, a craving for creativity, art, music, a deeper spread of imagination and its practical use will emerge. Let us observe dreams, visions, insights - they will provide answers.
The South Node of the Moon in Virgo will act as an “anchor” for the dreamy sign of Pisces, diving into the boundless ocean for the next year and a half. On the negative side, evolution can get caught in the trap of pettiness and perfectionism. A person will be tempted to cling to the sense of security created by an already familiar system (even if it illusory), to cover up with formalism or rules (even if they are no longer effective). Excessive attention to insignificant details, manipulative criticism or nitpicking (of oneself and others) would be the most difficult "anchors" that the cosmic currents of renewal will try to dislodge.
The harmonious energy of the Virgo sign radiates patience, clarity, and care, reminding us of humanity without being overly critical and without taking things for granted. It is important to remember and set boundaries, to never stop cultivating all kinds of cleanliness, order, and taking care of the body, its physical, mental, and emotional health. However, in the daily routine, it is important to open up to the wonders of life, discover spirituality, explore the intangible world, immerse yourself in creativity, art, meditation, psychology...
If we first open ourselves to the inspiration of the Pisces sign, to our dreams, let our intuition flow, trust our intuition and the Creator's plan - the hardworking energy of the Virgo sign will organize all material issues, clear and arrange the necessary paths and serve the highest good with devotion. Let the dragon's head seek manifestations of the spirit by looking at the stars and diving into the waters, and let the dragon's tail not raise dust, not spread chaos, but stand firmly together with its grounded feet on the supportive foundation of matter. A journey through discoveries and the search for balance between the material world of the Earth and the mysteries of the mystery of the Universe awaits.
Could we believe that our daily, ordinary lives are spiritual?
Maybe the answers we seek in the stars are very close to us?
