Solar and Lunar Eclipses in Astrology
Share
In astrology, eclipses represent significant periods of change and transformation. Eclipses are like energetic "system" checks and transmissions where new codes are sent for souls' individual and collective development. The less we resist and open ourselves to these "updates", the more harmoniously and favorably we integrate them, align with the perspectives of spiritual evolution.
The period between eclipses is called the eclipse corridor. The first eclipse is said to "open" the gates of the eclipse corridor. During the maximum of the eclipse itself, its effect is the strongest, but a few days around the eclipse, the period of the eclipse corridor itself, a few weeks before and after the eclipse corridor, we can feel its no less significant resonances. The effects of eclipses sometimes last for 6 months or even the entire cycle of eclipses of about 18.5 years, when the eclipse repeats again in the same axis of the zodiac signs.
Eclipses and the period between eclipses is a time of special power. It's like a portal through which we can accelerate evolution (but also decline). Even before the period of eclipses, more sensitive people can begin to feel swirls of intensifying energies, notice unexpected events or sensitized nervous systems of themselves and others. Often, before each period of eclipses, each of us can feel in which area of life attention is focused, which questions we will be pushed to solve.
Since eclipses are related to karmic processes, karmic turbidity may surface or the retribution of good karma may come. During the period of eclipses, we usually face the inevitable consequences of our earlier decisions, actions, as well as inaction. We are often drawn into situations or events to make a change, to step out of our comfort zones and old patterns of functioning, to break old bad habits, beliefs, etc. When you realize this, it is much easier to accept the intensification of rising karmic vortexes and consciously withdraw from them or, on the contrary, turn to their potential.
Let us understand that this is not a retribution or a punishment, but a chance to choose a different reaction, a different way of acting, to make a different decision. Eclipses can become healers of our personality and soul. We have the opportunity to untie or at least loosen the karmic knots, so let's not entangle them even more. Even if it takes more effort, let's stay in the light of awareness, adhere to morality, ethics and morality.
Eclipses can be of different intensity or significance for each person. It depends on the person's personal horoscope and how it interacts with each eclipse. For some, each eclipse can be "transformative" in constant operation, for others they will be more gentle, or after sharp periods there will be a quieter time for integration.
Eclipses affect people who were born with an eclipse or a period of eclipses more intensely. A significant year is likely for those who have an eclipse (or corridor of eclipses) on their birthday that year, or an eclipse that was or will be exactly half a year after your birthday. The effect is also significant for those when the eclipse occurs "on" the Ascendant (rising sign) of a person's birth chart, planets or other important points in the birth chart. It is believed that representatives of the Leo zodiac sign feel solar eclipses more strongly (their sign is ruled by the Sun). And representatives of the Cancer sign feel lunar eclipses more strongly (their sign is ruled by the Moon).
Often an eclipse is related to the disclosure of as yet unknown information, an unexpected message or perceived truth, which ultimately leads to a greater or lesser change. After the "light" of truth, we can no longer live in darkness. Changes can be sudden and shocking, but can also "unfold" over time (for example, during the next cycle of eclipses). During periods of eclipses, we may feel that time is speeding up, losing its linear perception, or that external events are happening much faster than usual.
The effects of an eclipse are sometimes paradoxical. For example, at first glance, an unpleasant event or a hopeless situation may turn out to be the best option that could have happened in a person's life after some time.
We walk through eclipses like bridges. We have passed, we have changed and we are moving on irreversibly. Always only forward in the direction of change. It's like a cosmic help from the Universe, running us on an accelerated treadmill. It is only our free will to use it (or not).
