New Moon in Sagittarius: What Do You See Beyond the Horizon?

On a spiritual level the winter solstice is a symbol of transformation and the renewal of inner fire. Through prayer, conscious focus, or ritual rites, a person’s connection to cosmic order, to the cyclicality of time and its deeper meaning is strengthened. In this pause a sacred event takes place — the birth of light in darkness.

Therefore this weekend has an exceptional and multilayered “lock”: the new moon opens a new lunar cycle, and the winter solstice — a new stage of the Sun’s path. This is a rare “combination” and an opportunity to consciously renew and choose direction. A true celebration of the light of consciousness in the darkest time of the year.
