BANJARA Mayan Copal Incense
BANJARA Mayan Copal Incense
The name copal comes from the Aztec word "Copalli", which meant a mixture of tree resins extracted from the sap of plants belonging to the copal genus. For thousands of years, this resin was considered sacred in the Mayan and Aztec civilizations. The Maya used to offer Kopalis, together with tobacco and cocoa, to the gods as one of the most valuable gifts.
Copal is still used today in various shamanic ceremonies. It is believed to provide energetic protection, clearing and purifying thoughts. These are great incenses for those who want positive changes in their lives. The aroma is pleasantly sweet, with a gentle touch of conifers, giving harmony and peace.
