The cut-out, Lithuanian cards were lovingly created by illustrator and text author Lina Žemyna.

24 cards for children aged 3 to 12. These cards will help your children create and maintain positive thinking patterns. Playful pictures of a panda, wolf, squirrel, elephant and other animals, with sentences spoken as if the animals themselves, will encourage children to be more confident, strengthen self-esteem and help set boundaries.

Usage methods:

Reflections

  • Pull out the card in the morning, getting ready for kindergarten or school. Discuss the picture, the animal, the positive thought. Repeat it with your child several times. Ask how he feels when he says these words.
  • When a child is in a difficult situation, worried, upset or afraid, they can pull out a card and find out what the animals say about it. A positive thought will help them break out of the vicious cycle of negative thoughts.
  • In the evening, before going to bed, choose a card and discuss it, feel it, and repeat a positive thought several times.

Charades
Acting is always a lot of fun and this activity entertains and unites all family members.
Pull out a card, don't show it to anyone, and try to depict an animal without words or sounds. All the other players try to guess what animal you are depicting.
If the task seems too difficult, you can connect the sound made by the animal to help those guessing.

Fairy tales
Finish the tale:
Once upon a time, in a distant land, or maybe right next to our house, there lived (say the name of the animal you drew). He was most distinguished by (list the characteristics characteristic of this animal). Therefore, he loved (say what this animal likes to do most). His best friends were (think of what animals could be friends). Once upon a time, they had the most fun adventure in the whole world (create a story suitable for the characters already mentioned)
You can also create a fairy tale yourself from start to finish. You can draw one or more animals to be the characters in the fairy tale. Create your own and develop your children's imagination.

Getting to know animals
Choose or draw an animal and all players take turns naming the characteristics of that animal. It's fun to search the internet for interesting facts. For example, did you know that the Swahili name for a lion is "simba"? And that a squirrel's front teeth never stop growing? Can you believe it - sloths are so slow that in their native climate, algae actually grows on their fur.
